Marian Hassan is a Somali Peace and Women’s empowerment activist in her country. She had worked in the field of peacebuilding, research, mixed migration and gender. She closely worked with host communities, refugees and internally displaced people (IDPs) within east Africa. Her work mainly focused on conflict mapping, protection, advocacy and provision of livelihoods. She co-researched Pillars of Peace Somali Program.
