Mamadou Ba, aka MaBa, is an internationally renowned French-Senegalese sculptor and painter and founder of Kangaado art. Established in Innsbruck, Austria since 2012, he has developed a world of shapes and colours around the themes of femininity, the spiritual wealth of the human being and the communion of souls in the universal swirl of life. In his artistic approach, MaBa developed Kangaado art (“the madman” in Fulani), based on the recovery of common objects and simple materials such as metal and wood.
