Mary Ann Torres Vergara was born in Venezuela from a Colombian mother and a Peruvian father and is currently living in Innsbruck where she is studying the MA program in Peace Studies. She has been studying and practicing Jyoti and Shabd meditation techniques for three years. She facilitated workshops with this technique as processes of awareness and transformation of the body, mind, and soul.
